Catfish
Quesadillas

When
three small businesses compete for a million-dollar grant,
the owners find themselves in the midst of conspiracies,
allegations, and sabotage. One of the companies, a popular
Mexican restaurant is burglarized and has its food
tampered with. What transpires next is panic in the
community as people try to determine just how far the
sabotage will reach.
Each
company considered, for the grant is located in an area
that was once miles and miles of prosperity. However, as
time and demographics changed the street was transformed
into a graveyard for run down businesses. The street has
now become a cluster of hot wing shacks and liquor stores.
The million-dollar grant, if given to right company will
begin to change the face of the community.
But
before the decision is made, violence erupts, corruption
threatens the integrity of the award, and a family member
is near death. When the grant is finally awarded, the
sabotage culprits are revealed and the perpetrators are
closer than you might think.
Told with biting humor
and amazing suspense, Catfish Quesadillas is a rare and
honest portrayal of customer service in America. It is a
story that matches the hunger for opportunity against the
pitfalls of complacency. With Catfish Quesadillas, Brian
Egeston once again creates a suspenseful thinking book
that allows readers an escape into a harsh reality.
